I have posted about Setapp a number of times on this site. But at the rate at which they seem to be adding quality apps to the service over there, I will need to revisit it again soon. This is a heads up about the Setapp MacBook giveaway.
If you are interested in the service, they are running a competition to win a MacBook 2017 at the moment. You don’t need to pay them anything, just run a free trial for a month — if that’s all you fancy. The most it will cost you is a toot on twitter, if you want in on the competition. You can carry on paying them if you get hooked. That is the point.
I can't stress enough how good a deal it all is. If you're an education user, you can get it all for a fiver per month. If you're also a Ulysses user, it's a no brainer. For the price of an ordinary subscription directly from Ulysses you get that app across all devices, along with the other 99 apps available on Setapp. My interest in all of this is I want it to stay alive, like or not subscriptions are the new reality for software. If you have graduated from piracy, you are going to have to pay for something.
The button will take you there, if that's where you want to go.
